Dear coreboot readers! This is the automatic build system of coreboot. The developer "oxygene" checked in revision 6319 to the coreboot repository. This caused the following changes: Change Log: Inverse two arguments of cbfs-files-y and adapts its users (one of which already used the new order) This is in reponse to feedback that the original setup was too complicated. New cbfs-files-y behaviour: cbfs-files-y contains the names of files as they appear in CBFS. The arguments describe the on-filesystem name, the type and (optionally) the position. Example: cbfs-files-y += foo foo-file := bar foo-type := splashscreen foo-position := 0xffff8000 This configures a CBFS file called "foo" that is marked "splashscreen", located at 0xffff8000 in flash and contains the data of the file "bar" in the filesystem (either in the current directory, ie. where the corresponding Makefile.inc resides, or if that doesn't exist, relative to the toplevel directory). [PATCH]Use cbfs-files-y for normal file additions

Hi, we currently have special cases for VGABIOS, Intel MBI and splashscreens. Use cbfs-files-y instead, which provides a canonical way for adding raw files to CBFS. [ANN]Read-only git mirror of the coreboot repository

Hi, given the large interest in using git by members of the community, I worked on an official read-only git mirror for general use. It has a website with code browser at http://code.coreboot.org/p/coreboot-git/ and the repo URL is git://code.coreboot.org/coreboot-git.git It's automatically updated by a post-commit hook in the SVN repository. Compared to the SVN upstream, it contains the full history (though not all seems to be reachable, eg. the "coreboot-v1" branch), which I cleaned up a bit to avoid confusing git-svn with our repository restructurings we did over the years. Since revision 4900 it's completely in sync with upstream, so most users shouldn't notice. Patrick

[PATCH] Freeze SeaBIOS master tag

SeaBIOS is moving to Kconfig. This will make it easier to configure coreboot and seabios going forward. However, it will also break the coreboot build in the short term. This patch, freezes the "master" branch of coreboot's seabios checkout so users don't see build failures.
