Hi, I finally set up a GNU arch repository for x86emu+intXXemu development. With this tree we should try to unify the x86 and legacy bios interrupt emulation that the various projects out there need. PCI IRQ tables

Hi, What happens if the pci irq mapping is a mess? I know you can use getpir with a good bios, but what if you don't have one? Is there a way to get the pci irq mapping without a standard bios? If you had to do it by hand could you explain how it should be done? Thanks, Dave

awdbedit's Chipset Registers

OK, I downloaded linuxbios but I dont have a supported board/chipset (an older acer aspire with an ALI chipset). And of course, acerlabs makes it a policy not to give away their specs. But there still might be hope. Award bios's exist for other boards with the same chipset (take a look at http://www.wimsbios.com/index.htm?/numbers.shtml for a cross reference). We are in development of a dense dual Opteron board with nVidia's CK804. I understand that YH has been able to port LinuxBIOS for the TYAN S2895 which has a pair of CK804's. I'd really like to make LinuxBIOS available on our board, which is designed to be a blade in a cluster. What is the status of this code, and what are the possibilities/problems related to it's availability? Kernel for linuxbios

I am using linuxbios with etherboot. In tyan2850. The only kernel so far that was loaded by the bootloader and run is: Cwlinux. www.cwlinux.com/downloads I tried without success: 1. Thinstation (etherboot) 2. Kernel from kernel.org. Is there any specific version I need to use of those kernels? Are there any patches made for the kernels that I didn't use? Where can I find them.
