I am using linuxbios with etherboot. In tyan2850. The only kernel so far that was loaded by the bootloader and run is: Cwlinux. www.cwlinux.com/downloads I tried without success: 1. Thinstation (etherboot) 2. Kernel from kernel.org. Is there any specific version I need to use of those kernels? Are there any patches made for the kernels that I didn't use? Where can I find them. What could be the problem? Sagiv

No, all Linux kernels work fine.

No. No patches needed at all.

The biggest problem is the low availability of crystal balls nowadays ;) Maybe you did not compile your kernel with serial console support or did not enable serial console on the command line? Stefan
