Yes. You need to stop the watchdog asap, otherwise it will shutdown the

so sio_setup is SuperIO setup, not Serial Setup, right?

But still, then, why this call top the enable serial with GPIO params? 
Is this to enable the device and setup the I/O base for it? Ah, I get

I see now. The function needs to be renamed as it is a generic device
enable, not just a serial enable.

according to an expert, there is no active watchdog on this ultra40.

list of supported hardware? Is a build tutorial available? Which other
Sun architectures are (or could easily be) supported?
