I want to install linuxbios on my k8v-se dx socket 754. i have cpu diag info. AMD Athlon 64 3000+ NewCastle Brand ID 4 Package Socket 754 K8VSEDX Rev 2.00 Chipset VIA K8T800 (VT8383) Rev. 01 VIA VT8237 will this board work?

It might be easy to get working, since most if not all components are supported. You didn't write which superio chip it uses, that also needs to be supported.
Any way, start with one of the existing Asus K8 boards in the tree and see if you can get any output at all.
