"Anyone with a spare board supported by LinuxBIOS is welcome to put it into the automated test system, thus helping the LinuxBIOS project increase their quality on your hardware."
More details? Let's say, for instance, that I wanted to donate a test board for one or more of the soon-to-be AM2 desktops; how would I go about accomplishing this?

Be prepaired for a flood of intrest. Mr. Barr's email is just a start. An article on linuxbios was posted on slashdot ( http://slashdot.org ) this am. And your server got "slashdotted". Russ

Really? We hardly noticed ;-)
Just as a quick note: The server (2*Opteron 1.8GHz, 2GB RAM) was running at a permanent load of 120 for several hours and was not too responsive during that time.
I fixed some of the issues after searching for slashdotting survival hints on the web. So in case this happens again, we should not be experiencing the same break-down in future.
As a side node: We've been having 15-20k hits per day on the main page in the last 2 days. And that's only those that got through ;)

Sure, but it didn't break down; each and every single request I did still got through.

Great great, thank you!

That's not so much then ;-)

I am in the progress of preparing proper documentation on how to get the systems integrated. A little bit of a foretaste is available at http://www.coresystems.de/PDFs/LinuxBIOS-QA.pdf
