Followup to my earlier postings regarding DK8-HTX hanging on boot...
The issue was due to improperly programmed flash. The (existing, legacy) BIOS was configured to lock-out a portion of the flash from being programmed. Once this BIOS setting was changed, the flash programming was successful.

good, now we need your patches :-)

No patches to the code... actually we only changed a CMOS setting in the AMI BIOS used to boot when we program the flash.
