Folks, I have a number of patches failing build-bot step with an indication that coreboot-checkpath should be run.
How do I run this check locally?
Is this installed as part of 'make gitconfig' which I can't run on my older git install?
Can I download this script(?)
Any suggestions on how best to clear coreboot-checkpath on my patches is appreciated. Cheers, T.mike
Hi T.mike, You're correct that this check is installed as part of 'make gitconfig'. The code that's installed is in util/gitconfig/precommit. For time reasons, not all of the tests that are run on the server are run in this script
To run all of the checks that are run on the server locally, run 'make test-lint'. Many of these tests just test the most recent git commit, so they need to be run on each commit individually, not just the final patch of the train.
