OK, I've found this place: http://www.directron.com/minibarebone1.html
Here's the question: how cheap can I build an EPIA node? this means case, power supply, epia, etc.
Or how cheap can I get a case so I can get boards from Andrew with LinuxBIOS on them :-)

A group I worked with at the national educational computing convention (k12ltsp.org), used a bunch of these for ltsp nodes.

They bought 20 for about $15 each including s/h, you might want to call/email the vendor.

I have some interest in this. The cheapest I've found an EPIA board is $90 for an 8000[1], decent price on memory at [2]. Essential Computer & AccuPC are reputable enough for me.

I don't have a good source for the rest of the node, however.

This link is for an EPIA-V... Not sure how similar they are. There are a few differences, though I think the main stuff (northbridge / southbridge ) etc are the same...

Ack, sorry about that everybody. The correct boards are ~$100 everywhere I see.
Check out unicorn computer. They're cheap in quantity. Endat 3220 is basically an EPIA 800 (Ezra or Samuel 2 core)
70-80 US

case included? Because, if it is a bare board, we're willing here to pay the extra bucks to a company that can provide linuxbios on the board. It's worth it to us.

That is just the board. But unicorn (as part of their service) will provide the boards with a custom BIOS (their BIOS or one you supply).
Although buying from them vs cwlinux if the price is relatively the same is probably of little value. One of the reasons they appealed to what we were doing is because they guarantee a relatively long lifespan for the board. Which saves having to qualify a new board every year or so.

Hi Rin,
I am highly impressed by the amount of work you are putting in the LinuxBIOS project. I am deeply interested in this work and trying myself to put LinuxBIOS on EPIA8000. Thx a lot for LinuxBIOS.

I can possibly supply you cases (without power supply) at around USD 15 - FOB Bombay, India. I am attaching the pix of front and back of the case. Dimentions of the case is W 290mm X L 330mm X H 80mm. You can opt for any of the off-white or black color. I will send you the gross and net wieght and other details you may need.
This cases are made from MS and powder coated and good in quality.
Or how cheap can I get a case so I can get boards from Andrew with LinuxBIOS on them :-)
Pls let me know in any way I can support the project and good work you and others are doing.
Also if you need help in maintaining the list I can easy do that for you. I am already maintaining our local GLUG list. (http://mm.ilug-bom.org.in/mailman/listinfo/linuxers)
With warm regards,
