Ok I did lspci -vv on my baby and well i saved the output in a text, and of course it is attached :)
Also how would this function, knowing that i have linux and windows dual boot now, if i flashed my BIOS it would boot into linux only right? (ya i'd say right? lol hence the 'linuxbios' heh)

sorry, I do not think the 82850 is supported by anyone.
No, we do not support windows boots from linuxbios. But vmware is a better way to go anyway.

82850 isn't on the Intel embedded roadmap and won't be around very much longer since it's a RDRAM chipset. Not really worth working on a LinuxBIOS port for this.
Take a look at a motherboard with a 845E chipset.
