set fixed mtrr can't work

I'm using cvs freebios, and intel  celeron CPU and 
winfast 6300 mainboard.  When linuxbios post 0x60 and
go to execute set fixed mtrr, it halt.  The output is 
as following:
  Setting up fixed MTRRs(0-88) type:UC

who know the problem?

re that code you just sent a patch for ... it disables cache before doing
MTRR settings for fixed MTRRs. My memory is that long ago that code was in
there; or was it somewhere else; or did it get removed?
