linuxbios and Xfree sis driver

Dear Sirs,

I have been trying to use linuxbios with X on a pcchips M810 motherboard, 
but I could only get it to work using the fbdev driver (which lacks the 
speed I need). When I try to use the sis driver the screen gets black and 
the computer hangs.

any help?
