let's see if it works in 24 hours.
Trying it right now, from a clean DNS server, I get "This page intentionally left blank".

no, I wanted to just let easydns be the dns. I will now fix all the entries you want, should they all just be CNAMEs for linuxbios.org as the www and wiki are now?

Will http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cvstarballs/freebios-cvsroot.tar.bz2 be taken down for good as well?

I sure hope so, or is that still needed.

It would be convenient for those who have developed something using v1 to have linuxbios v1 available via the linuxbios site - so if you update the download page to serve the last snapshot, with instructions how to extract from that, it would be fine by me.

Check http://snapshots.linuxbios.org/ - the latest v1 version is there, and so will be any v1 versions that might appear in the future.

I cleaned up the download page a little bit. Hope it's more understandable now.

Hi
some boards in the current tree fail with: ===> ERROR: Could not open file "/tmp/LBABUILD-fL6924/freebios/src/drivers/lsi/53c1030/Config.lb"
Can anyone check this file in? YhLu?
Stefan
I can not check lsi scsi support code. They didn't isssue authentication letter for that.
I have removes including lines in MB Config.lb (s2880, s4880, s4882).

My concern was only with keeping links from external websites to the snapshots current and unbroken.
I think the snapshots are convenient way for new visitors to Linuxbios to have a quick look at the code and structure.

just tell me what CNAMEs you need and I will set them up.

The VIA Twister VT8606 northbridge has been out for quite a while and is targeted at many embedded applications. I've seen it used in lots of industrial sbc's and thin clients. Data sheets should be easier to get than the desktop parts.
VIA has been releasing lots of the source for drivers of many chipsets including 2d/3d, mpeg, tv for unichrome graphics accelerators.
Much of the source and info may be found here:

The VIA ProSavage PN133T is the vt8606 and called the Twister-T.
http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=40&STypeID=4
The link seems to be broken to the marketing docs: http://www.via.com.tw/en/ProSavage%20Chipsets/pn133t.jsp
It may have EOLed recently since the CLE266 and CN400 support the same cpu's but offer far better performance and features.

it's all working again as of today.
it took easydns a while to get this done correctly.
