Hi,
I want to develop LinuxBios for this motherboard ,
lspci output is below. ***********lspci start****** 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 82810E GMCH [Graphics Memory Controller H ub] (rev 03) 00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82810E CGC [Chipset Graphic s Controller] (rev 03) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801AA 82810 PCI Bridge (rev 02) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation 82801AA 82810 Chipset ISA Bridge (LPC) (re v 02) 00:1f.1 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801AA 82810 Chipset IDE (rev 02) 00:1f.2 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801AA 82810 Chipset USB (rev 02) 00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 82801AA 82810 Chipset SMBus (rev 02) 01:04.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82559ER (rev 09) 01:05.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82559ER (rev 09) 01:06.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82559ER (rev 09) 01:07.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82559ER (rev 09)
***********lspci end******
I believe this one is not supported. Because I had posted this output before on before.
Could some guide me how to start development of the LinuxBios for my board. What is the setup needed. Are there any development tools available, etc ?
There seem to be LinuxBios SDK available at http://www.cwlinux.com/eng/products/products_order.php, which is combination of Hardware and software.
But, it does not support our motherboard. Can anyone please give any suggestions on this and can someone share one's experience on the development of LinuxBios for a new motherboard about how one goes about it.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks and Regards Deepak
What I can do is create a "skeleton" of your motherboard in the linuxbios tree, complete with source files in place, and then you fill it in with working code.
I hope you are comfortable with programming north bridges, please study some of them to make sure you know basically what to do.
Sound oK?
if so, send me mainboard vendor and name, and I'll set it up.
