1 what is future of quad core barcelona support on 1207 / f
  2 what are odds of these boards supported

i do not yet own either board but linuxbios support would sway me

Has anybody so much as sniffed at either of these boards for LinuxBIOS
purposes?  16-way systems with 4GB per core in a 1U or 2U enclosure
make for some interesting cluster configurations....

This one could be supported in several hours. contact with supermicro
sales, they could provide support to you.

this one is using ck804, and need to check SMAF on CK804 so CPU freq
can be changed.
