Status of 2.0?

Howdy,

I see that Eric has started a 2.0 port for the BIOS.  I'm interested in the 
status and the plans.  I've a couple of projects that are looking at using 
Linux BIOS and I'm doing a test port for a new platform.

Eric, can you fill me in?
