Status of AMD 780G Chipset

Hi,

is it possible at this moment to run coreboot on a AMD 780G Chipset + 
SB700 Chipset based MoBo?

I need this eventually for a Jetway NC81-LF

Hello,

I am waiting for 780G support, too. Zheng Bao from AMD has mentioned that they 
have some working code and documentation for it in February but they have not 
published any code until now - probably because it has to be reviewed by their 
legal department.

Hello, 
It is true. The 780 document is not going to open. So I can not release
the 780 code. I was told opening the sb700 document is going to happen.
But I haven't got any official notice.

Hello, I wait for the support, too. So is there a chance that we will be
able to use our board with coreboot at all? Can't you just release the
code, without the documentation?

What AMD does is great, I really appreciate what you do, also the free
graphics drivers.

Not yet. AMD wanted to release SB700 docs in April and April is nearing
its end... maybe we'll get something in the next few hours. SB700 code
was expected in the same timeframe. RS780 docs+code are in the pipeline,
but may take more time.
