none at all, to start. Did you actually get linuxbios to work on this?

strange, being guided by the Sis630 steps (step 2), the doc mentions that one should patch the kernel tree (??).

I haven't gotten anything working yet. I'm just refering to the steps mentioned in Sis630 online doc. I'm also integrating portions of info I get from "configmanual.ps" To my understanding, I should patch the standard Kernel source tree first before I get to configure/build stuff mentioned on configmanual.ps file. Please point me to some other reference if I'm doing/understanding this entirely wrong.

Thanks and best regards,
Vic

I need to mark those files OBSOLETE
you're fine. Our docs really suck. I'm sorry.

Ok Ron, it's nice to know that I can still read :o). However, this doesn't answer as to where do I really go/start in using/implementing LinuxBIOS. I'm still trying to read between the lines of whatever doc is available. To everybody, please don't hesitate to e-mail n00bys like me for genric steps that I should follow in order to try out this project.
Best regards,
Vic
So, if you want to write an update howto ;-)
let's start over. what's the motherboard and motherboard chipset.
Sorry, this project is changing so fast it's hard to keep the docs up to date.
