Which day is the LinuxBIOS workshop, Oct 11 or Oct 12?
The meeting details web page says Oct 11. http://lacsi.rice.edu/symposium
The registration web page says Oct 12. https://ssl.linklings.net/registrations/lacsi/
MEETING DETAILS
The LinuxBIOS Summit will be at the 2005 LACSI Symposium, October 11-13, 2005 in Santa Fe, New Mexico USA. See lacsi.rice.edu/symposium. We will begin as a full-day workshop (among nine others) on the Symposium's first day (October 11). Then we'll have another 1.5 days to meet in parallel with the Symposium.
REGISTRATION
Register for the LACSI Symposium at https://ssl.linklings.net/registrations/lacsi/ and select the LinuxBIOS Summit as your preferred workshop. You'll have all the perquisites of a Symposium attendee (access to all workshops, reception, research presentations, panels, proceedings) as well as to the LinuxBIOS Summit meetings. Registration is $350 until September 5, then $400 until October 5 or on-site. There are also student rates.
Sincerely,
Ken Fuchs kfuchs@winternet.com

Thanks for catching that.
The day is oct. 11. Sorry for any confusion.
Also, be sure to register for the hotel by sep. 11.
thanks

I guess LinuxBIOS track should be in Oct 12.
So I could attend
Application-Specific Acceleration with FPGA Co-Processors (full day) Organizer and contact person: Maya Gokhale (maya@lanl.gov; 505-665-9095)
or others Oct 11.

You are welcome to attend any parts of LACSI you wish; but the LinuxBIOS summit does start oct. 11.
ron
Then how can attend two workshop at the same time?
I am thinking about addding linuxbios support for FPGA co-processor ..... So I would be there to see if someone can give out some co-processor to play.

I'm with YH on this one...
Maya's team is presenting some of the work that is the most interesting (to me). It'd be a shame to miss it, especially considering the potential for collaborative efforts.

Sorry, guys, but we need the time. This is our first one and there is lots of work to do. That said, you are of course welcome to attend Maya's session on oct. 11 -- you are paying for the whole symposium, after all.
ron
OK, I just need to talk to them to get some FPGA to play. So I don't want to pay for the session.
