The developer "hailfinger" checked in revision 2876 to the LinuxBIOS source repository and caused the following changes:
Change Log: Remove hardcoded wait from SPI write/erase routines and check the chip status register instead. This has been tested by Harald Gutmann harald.gutmann@gmx.net with a MX25L4005 chip.

If something broke during this checkin please be a pain in hailfinger's neck until the issue is fixed.
