Port80 is working now. Found bug is in LPC's early initialization code. You'd better separate enable_port80_on_lpc() into two independent functions and place LPC init into define-block(Haswell code is correct, but there is a mistake in Sandybridge, I suppose).

Congratulations on getting the ME working again. Your VGA device is 8086,1616, so that's what you need to set. The 8086,0406 is probably just the default one in coreboot, but you still have to configure it. In 'make menuconfig', go to Devices menu and set the "VGA Device ID" to "8086,1616", then recompile, and it will work. I had the exact same issue . VGA rom doesn't work

Now that my ME problem is solved I turn to another problem. The video bios does not seem to function. During seabios boot screen no video is displayed. Only when grub auto loads does the video start. When I use cbfstool auron_yuna.bin print it shows pci8086,0406.rom at offset 0x7004c0 However when I check lspci -n it shows an address of 8086:1616 for pci device 00.02.0 VGA compatible controller. Which of these should I use for coreboot VGA device PCI ID?

You can compare two binaries simply with `cmp`. It'll tell you the position of the first mismatching byte. If that is below 4096, better write back the descriptor from the original image. You can use flash- rom's layout option for that (see `man flashrom`). Request to test graphics related Kconfig changes

Hi all, I've done a major rewrite of graphics related Kconfig settings and would like to see it more tested. The goals of the changes are roughly: * Provide choices for settings that were loose booleans before (e.g. the method to initialize gfx, the final framebuffer setting). * Avoid buildtime and runtime conflicts by only prompting for option combinations that are supposed to work. I've tested so far: * Lenovo/X200s: NGI (text mode, high-resolution mode), no gfx init * Lenovo/T420: NGI and libgfxinit (both in text mode, high- resolution mode), no gfx init Would be nice if somebody could test VBIOS setups and FSP/GOP on some systems before we submit the patch series. Setting both the same seems very wrong to me for Apollo Lake. ROM_SIZE is supposed to be the full size of the flash chip. That chip is shared by SoC configuration, blobs and the BIOS/coreboot. coreboot will reside in the "BIOS" region of the chip, CBFS_SIZE should be at most the size of that region.
