Add CX700 Device ID Signed-off-by: Randall Philipson <rtphilipson(a)cox.net> --- This probably qualifies as a trivial patch since the CX700 uses the same register to enable flash programming. But I'd appreciate it if someone could ack if for me so I can start to get a feel for this check-in process. I've tested it with SST39SF040 and SST49LF004, at least reading and writing, and it seems to work fine. (At least on my development board). It is my goal to get a port working for the CX700, but there are a lot of obstacles in my way. The biggest being my lack of intellect. We shall see.

folks, I know that off topic posts are not really welcome here. Still, we have a guy in Germany (interior minister Schaeuble) who is crossing a red line and this mandates "out of line" measures in return. in short, the conservatives run a campaign to minimize constitutional civil rights and cite terrorism as justification. Dear LinuxBIOS readers! This is the automated build check service of LinuxBIOS. The developer "stepan" checked in revision 2587 to the LinuxBIOS source repository and caused the following changes: Change Log: This patch makes sure that VGA is initialized before it is used. Without this fix, LinuxBIOS crashes if the CONSOLE_LOG_LEVEL is high enough. Additionally, The VGA option rom will be executed if either CONFIG_PCI_ROM_RUN=1 or CONFIG_CONSOLE_VGA=1. [LinuxBIOS] FILO issues

FILO trunk can't boot from hdb, with or without my patch. Has anyone ever been able to boot a kernel from a slave device? In blockdev.c unsigned long is used for the sector, this will overflow when a kernel is beyond 2TB on a drive. The IDE driver users sector_t which is typedef:ed to uint64_t or unsigned long long. Maybe GRUB2 will be here before this becomes a problem. //Peter
