since the laptop.org lists are mostly software-oriented nowadays and they dropped support for A-Test boards long ago, I'm going to ask here: Does anybody know whether I can also flash LPC SST49LF080A in the PLCC32 socket on that board or am I limited to LPC flash? Booting from that flash chip is not necessary, flashing the chip is my only goal right now.

In general, that is true for any 5536 platform. Just set PRI_BOOT_LOC appropriately in the DIVIL_BALL_OPTS register, and 5536 will generate transactions to match.

I'm going to make a little cluster of my a-test boards. Just cut some slots in a 2x4 and line them up. Kind of fun.
