Hi!
this is completely untested!
I got this hint from the syslinux mailing list regarding building on newer distros, maybe this helps building linuxbios.
For newer distro's (like ubuntu 6.10, FC5+), syslinux build fails due to gcc 4. Here is a patch to get it to build properly.
The only thing it does is add -fno-stack-protection to CFLAGS in all the Makefiles.

Yes, you're right, there is no patch.
I'm no expert with messing around with Makefiles, hence the hint to add "-fno-stack-protection" to CFLAGS in all the Makefiles.
Sorry for that, i'm now busy with other projects. I'll return soon to linux bios development as I need to finish the NOVA board support.

That doesn't work, older GCC versions complain about that option. The option should only be used if the compiler supports it.
