Hello:
The built-in sound on the ASRock E350M1 works properly. Could someone please update the wiki page accordingly?
Also, a wiki account would be nice if possible.
Thank you! -Marshall Buschman

I guess they will create an account quickly for you. I am putting Stephan in CC just in case.
Thanks,
Paul

Long term idea: What about moving our Wiki to our source repo (ikiwiki allows SCMs in the backend), eg using the Documentation/ hierarchy for the website.
That way, no account is needed for submissions as gerrit handles them.
Also: No web stuff needed for updates, code & docs are closer...

The URL of ikiwiki [1].

I very much do like that idea. I cannot judge how up to date the current Wiki is. But I guess there is a lot of old stuff in there. Being able to update the Wiki/documentation right away with code commits seems simpler and reviewers can demand such changes from code authors.
It will of course be a one time effort to create the initial structure/layout and to port the existing Wiki over.
Just to be clear, Web edits would still be possible [2].
Thanks,
Paul

Sounds like a good idea.

Nah, I for one prefer a "normal" MediaWiki.

1. What are the advantages? 2. The question is if the current situation needs to be changed or not, i. e. is the Wiki up to date? If it is not what are the reasons and how can that be improved.
Thanks,
Paul

Ikiwiki has a basic web interface, which is not handy if you want web edition.
And having to setup SSH keys and all the blah just to contribute is way to hard for many users.
MoinMoin2.0 should have SCM support, but I have no idea of the status.

Instead of explicitly seeking to sanction the patentability of software, they are now seeking to create a central European patent court, which would establish and enforce patentability rules in their favor, without any possibility of correction by competing courts or democratically elected legislators."

The question is how many users are doing Web edits when they could use their editor and how many non-developers are doing edits.

Did I say that Joey Hess implemented awesome features for ikiwiki. One is untrusted Git pushs [1] to be able to use Git directly to make the same changes you are allowed to do using the Web interface.
