Hi there,
i read the "Will coreboot work on my machine?"-FAQ. Unfortunately I don't own my desired board and chipset yet, but I would like to know if this combination is supported, so i tried to collect some infromation:
Board: Jetway JNC62K SocketAM2/AM2+ Mini-ITX (link to the homepage: http://www.jetwaycomputer.com/AMD3.html and as attachment the datasheet)
Chipset:cpu AMD AM2 5050X2

Kind regards and thanks for any information!

Unfortunately the NVidia MCP78S chipset is not supported yet and it is unlikely we'll support it in the future because we don't have the needed data sheets and programming information.

Hi again,
how about the VIA EPIA EX15000G, CX700M2 (PC2-4200U DDR2) mainboard? Is or will this be supported? I am trying to build up a PC for my car so I need a ITX-motherboard and a DVI-Port. Coreboot in cobination with a SSD as harddisk would ensure a very quick boot ;) So if anyone could advise some board to me, if the upper one is not supported, I would really apprechiate it!
Thanks in advance!

The chipset is supported, we released it a while back. Check the via/vt8454c target for a mainboard using that chipset.

Actually, depending on how complex that chipset is, serialice might let us figure out what we need to know ...

Hi again,
I am sorry to bother you again but unfortunately but I could need information about the coreboot support of the following boards
VIA EPIA VB8001-16 1600MHz MiniITX and VIA EPIA VB7002-15 1500MHz MiniITX
Is there already any support or will there be any soon?
My alternative would be
VIA EPIA M700-15 1500MHz MiniITX
Just for explanation or if someone has an idea: I am looking for a coreboot supported ITX sized board with at least 2 GB of RAM and a CPU of at least 1,5 GHz which is capable for multimedia use and quick boot. So it would be nice if there's a DVI interface or a PCI or PCIe extension. It will be used as a car pc. Is there any board you could advise?
Sorry for bothering again but I don't want to buy "any" board to find out, that coreboot is not supported.
Kind regards and thanks in advance

Before you send a question mail for every single board: For a complete list of supported boards look here: http://www.coreboot.org/Supported_Motherboards

Either you choose a board from the list above, or you might have to dig into how to port coreboot to a new board. In that case I suggest you start with a supported chipset combination at least, because supporting a new chipset is months and months of work.
