Boot from SATA disk?

If so, it is already solved.

Option rom does two things
1.       Init Controller to fix bugs in chip design or HW design.
2.       boot disk….

I have make the FILO can boot from SATA disk. After I make boot from USB
disk, I will update the patch to FILO in Etherboot.

How does linuxbios handle add-in cards that may need special boot-roms like
the promise raid controllers, if I am going to startup from one?
