Hello! Would anyone who's a member of the list, be interested in presenting at a LUG?
I am a member of the NYLUG outfit, and I am interested in, call it being the one to welcome an associate of the list to the group. Although I suspect an officer of the group would want to do that.
NYLUG incidentally is the New York Linux User's Group. It meets on the last Wednesday of each month.
Physical demonstrations are very welcome at each presentation.
Please note that I do not speak for the group, I am only a member of it. -- Gregg C Levine hansolofalcon@worldnet.att.net "The Force will be with you always." Obi-Wan Kenobi
The North Central Ohio Linux User Group (NCOLUG) based in Mansfield would likewise be interested in a Linux BIOS presentation. Mansfield is about half-way between Cleveland and Columbus.
We would probably do this jointly with the Ohio IT Alliance and would most likely use http://www.ncsc.edu Kehoe Center OSU Mansfield as the venue.

+1
It looks we may have lured Ron in to doing a presentation from Google's Mountain View, CA campus. Though it's not finalized yet, I would like to preemptively invite anyone near a Google office to join via videoconferencing. Please contact me directly if you and your LUG (if applicable) are interested.

I actually have several possible talks, including a 90-slide talk on "how to do a coreboot port".
I can talk for hours, and bore you all to death. So it can be very general, or about the experience of coreboot, or about doing a port for v3, ...
take your pick.
thanks
