The Novena Open Laptop + Coreboot?

Hey all,

Now that Novena Laptop has finally been crowd funded above and beyond
it's target, does anyone know if any of their team has approached
coreboot to make sure it is a open laptop from the moment you turn it
on. It would be so nice to have a real free as in libre laptop.

IT will probably run u-boot, so free is solved.

But, wow, I think the price to what-you-get ratio on that thing is not
attractive.
