You may try to increase the heap size in config. I meet such problem in S2882 and solved that by increasing heap size.

Also, I could not get beyound this point with a Linux 2.6.5rc1 kernel. Linux 2.4.x boots through to userland... It looks like a kernel issue, but could it come from mkelfImage?

I've set stack size to 16k and heap size to 40k, according to what's done on the s2885.. didn't work though.
Together with the Filo ide issues, it looks like something's wrong with the pci devices?
