So if the autoboot command is 'hda1:/vmlinuz initrd=hde1:/initrd.img console=ttyS0', a 'root hde1:' followed by 'boot' would boot the commandline 'hde1:/vmlinuz initrd=hde1:/initrd.img console=ttyS0'
