I don't know if it is related to your problem and how old your kernel is but
it seems there was a problem with:
"MSI failure was due to BIOS not setting HT_MSI_FLAGS_ENABLE bit in the 
HyperTransport MSI mapping capability of the HT-to-PCI bridge (PCI device 
0:1.0)."

Maybe not. The bugs talk about problems in or behind the PCI bridge,
which is next to the USB HC; ie. they are both on bus 0 in the
chipset.
