ok here is what i know about my mobo: all the information the linuxbios.org tells me to send i think should be in thishttp://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=&cat3_no=&prod_no=278link (this is my mobo), i think all the specs are compliant to that of the ones on that page. lspci: 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 82815 815 Chipset Host Bridge and Memory Controller Hub (rev 04) 00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82815 815 Chipset AGP Bridge (rev 04) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801 PCI Bridge (rev 11) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation 82801BA ISA Bridge (LPC) (rev 11) 00:1f.1 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801BA IDE U100 (rev 11) 00:1f.2 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM USB (Hub #1) (rev 11) 00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM SMBus (rev 11) 00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio (rev 11) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV5M64 [RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro] (rev 15) 02:03.0 Ethernet controller: Accton Technology Corporation SMC2-1211TX (rev 10) im unsure what the super I/O chip is but i presume it is on the link. i think i have a Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier with phoenix bios on, but i could be wrong. is there anything else that you need to know? please talk to me as a noob (im not completely new to linux but i am to bios and hardware).

Sorry, but the Intel 815 chipset isn't supported (yet).
I know that someone (Corey?) wanted to have a look at it later on though.

Either me or joe will work on it at some point, we're both on other projects right now though. Just got another i810 board the other day, with a socketed bios. Also found some docs on intel's site that I hadn't seen before, they make it very, very clear what needs to be done, should be relatively simple after the CN700 is done.
