BTW, as you'e seen, the data sheets are less than helpful. But the driver is usually worth looking at.
My contact at Intel tells me he's not seeing what you're seeing, so we need a way to reproduce your setup and see what's going on.

It's possible that somehow the gtt and gsm are living in the same place and the chipset is corrupting its own gtts.
