After lurking on the list since march, I finally sent a request to Abit about this:
We afraid that we didn't support that LinuxBIOS.
Not much help to get there... Are there any tricks I can do to find out how to enable the flash write? Like checking the registers changed by awdflash in dos somehow?
Regards Karl Erik

Does this mean I'm stuck, or does anyone have a clue about where/how to find such info?
you can contact the mainboard vendor, or try to reenigne esrever it, if that is legal in your country. ndisasm might be your friend. :-)
