Technexion TIM-8960 patch

Dear All,

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I am in the process of porting this board:

http://www.technexion.com/products/embedded_boards/tim-8690-mt.html

This board has a dual BIOS , choosable with a jumper - much like the BIOS
savier from before - so it is a pleasure to work with as a linuxbios
developer.

It is still a work in progress, however , I already submit the patch.
All on board devices and slots work as expected, only need some more stress
testing with the RAM, acpi ,etc..

btw the reason to do this: you have to say you are using that setting.
But the default is 0, so you have no need to set it to 0.

Great, thanks!

Can you please test booting with 4 GB RAM? In my tests, Linux will hang
during boot on 690G with 4 GB due to SATA not working.
I'd be very interested in knowing whether this is a bug seen with M690T
as well.

And I'm a bit confused about why you'd specify socket S1G1 if the board
has socket AM2.

Sorry for the long wait. Today I have confirmed the same problem - I boot
with 4GB RAM (2GB in each SODIMM slot) - and the kernel can't find SATA
drives aswel as USB seems to have a problem.
Any Idea's ?

As Carl-Daniel Hailfinger pointed out, I forgot to indicate that the socket
is AM2 , not S1 in the acpi tables of tim-8690.
