Hi Folks,
I've added initial ACPI support to my EPIA-NL/CN400 Port.
This has allowed me to get to the point where I can run FILO and start to boot a kernel from SATA.
FILO is finding the kernel and initrd image and kicks off the boot process, the kernel is picking up the ACPI tables and starts PCI init (note use of ACPI=force to get around lack of DMI support).
I think the issues are concerned with the South Bridge Init (VT8237R), There a bunch of USB UHCI problems reported and then the boot hangs configuring/mounting sda1
Below is the coreboot spew level output, FILO startup and then linux init. I'd appreciate any pointers as to what's going on, particularly the later FILO/Linux init stages.
Thanks, Jon ****************************************************************** coreboot-2.0.0-r1M-epia_n-fallback Tue Jul 14 15:52:50 BST 2009 starting... In auto.c:main() Enabling mainboard devices Enable F-ROM Shadow RAM Setup CPU Interface CN400 RAM init starting Setting Burst Length 8
