That's one of the reasons for merging filo into etherboot....

is vga init support still in there as well? From the list above
zelf seems the hardest to implement in Filo, as the etherboot
implementation is kind of nasty...

direct vga? whats that? normal text mode output? that works fine in the
normal filo as well.
