CPL and GPL

It seems one EFI implementation in 32 bit.

What's the major difference between CPL and GPL?

CPL is very BSD-like, so a vendor can modify and redistribute binary, so a
fork is guaranteed. Forked BIOSes are a really bad thing for customers.
