AFAIK the 965 chipset is not at all supported.
I'm not sure but I believe the 64-bit 965 to be relatively similar to the well-supported 32-bit 945 chipset, so pursuing this would perhaps only require moderate reverse engineering effort. It's not the absolute worst case but still takes at least some months of effort with an all-too-rare skillset. It may not be worth that much time out of your life.
