Hi!
I have an 5V parallel programmer. The simple question is:
Does anybody in this list has some experience with programming an 3.3V Flash with 5V?
Does this destroy the chip, or are there good chances that the flash survives the higher Voltage?
Thanks in advance,
Oliver Niesner

Which programmer?

That does not work.
Does this destroy the chip,
Yes.
or are there good chances that the flash survives the higher Voltage?
Nope.

I have to agree with Peter. 3.3v flash chips usually only have a +-.5v tolerance. Could you add a voltage regulator in between the programmer and chip?
