Hello everyone, Ron, Stefan and I were kicking the shit and came up with this small patch for superiotool. Adds support for a Winbond device where there was once only a stub. Enjoy!

Thanks, r2833. I fixed some values in the table, though. Maybe just simple typos, but just to make sure -- we're really talking about the W83627THF/THG chips? And you used the defaults as per datasheet (not the output from a certain _physical_ chip you tried it on)?
Anyway, do you happen to also have a box with this Super I/O? If so, please send the dump output from the latest svn revision.
Thanks, Uwe.
Hey Uwe, I went through the whole table and found that your corrections are, in fact, correct :-) Sorry for the rushed submission earlier!
For reference, I have attached a diff of the output using the factory BIOS and LinuxBIOSv2 on a K8N-Neo3 (MS-7152, Winbond W83627THF). Note: I still don't have a lot of that working quite right as of yet.

Thanks, added to wiki!
You're working on this one? http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=170&maincat...
Shall we add it to http://linuxbios.org/Desktops as "Work in progress"?
Uwe.

Yep, that's the one. And yes, we should probably add it as a WIP. It's my antiquated personal desktop machine so I'd better get it working some time soon ;-)

Added, thanks. Feel free to edit the entry and correct any wrong information there...
Uwe.

That image says MS-7135, which number is correct? Also, which revision of the board do you have? Does it have a socketed PLCC chip?
Thanks, Uwe.
MSI-7135 is correct... D'oh!
