[LinuxBIOS] gdb in LB

Has anyone used gdb in LBv2?  I see an option CONFIG_GDB_STUB which is 
disabled by default.  I couldn't find any document on this.  Search thru the mailing list gave mixed results.  Pl.advise.(tyan 2881/opteron 275)
