Hi all,
The AMD SB600 public register document was released today! Along with the previously released RS690 and CPU documentation, coreboot should be able to fully support AMD RS690/SB600 platforms. Patches for the DBM690T development platform and RS690, and SB600 chipset will be available early next week. Until then, visit http://www.coreboot.org/AMD_Public_Documents for links to the documents.
The direct link to the SB600 register doc is: http://www.coreboot.org/docs/AMD/46155_sb600_rrg_pub_3.03.pdf

wonderful news! Thanks to you all at AMD! ron
Hi Marc,
a big THANK YOU to AMD and everyone who made this possible! You guys are awesome!
Can we make a slashdot/phoronix/lwn/... announcement or will the server be overloaded? I added a link to a cached version of the document just in case we get hit heavily by the slashdot effect.
Regards, Carl-Daniel

I don't know what the server can handle or what interest there might be...
Maybe wait until next week when we release the source to make an announcement.

Hi Marc,
I was curious about SB600 hw monitoring stuff for lm-sensors, it seems that FAN counters/temp stuff is not well documented there. Please any idea if it is just omission or ?
Thanks, Rudolf

There is no hardware monitoring sensor in the SB600, regardless of what the documentation may imply.
