You only need to add support for SB700, since the 740G boards are a 690G+SB700, instead of the SB600.
Perhaps it may be good to start work in the 740G?

We need that 780 support real soon now, or we'll be in a situation where there are *no* desktop boards still available that we support within the next month or so :/
