A11 is connected only on 16 MB "slugs".
Ah, hardware "joys". As irritating as this stuff is to me, I think back to the IBM 360F30 I started on in Feb. 1972. That machine's microcode ROM required compressed air, in order to function correctly. I'm NOT joking. Look card read only storage (CROS) up.
