vgabios emulation status

Ok the last thing I need is to get LB to run the vga bios for the 69030 
chips (there are 2).

I haven't seen any activity on the vgabios facility of linuxbios in a 
while.  Can someone give me a rundown on the current status and what 
needs to be done to make that happen.
