Something like that might be adaptable enough for more complex systems: but that isn't what's been implemented here; we haven't needed to do so.
More than ever before it is now obvious to me that nothing at all regarding power management should be done in the BIOS.
The plan is to replace ACPI with the device tree, right? How is that going?
