Essentially.

It all depends on your relationship.  But as a general rule if you have
knowledge under an NDA that is not public knowledge it is impolite
to publish it with out the vendors approval.

This is courtesy, and in the case of AMD not a large imposition, as we
know the information will be publicly available in time.  Having the work done
sooner and published would not hurt my feelings though.
