The CPU A10-5750M which you mentioned is a more recent one (newer than my Phenom 2 X6).
It is on a more modern 2013 platform, mine is an AM3 Socket of 2010-2011 years with a corresponding old chipset:
* North Bridge: AMD 785G * South Bridge: AMD SB710 More details about my motherboard can be found at: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-MA785GMT-UD2H-rev-10#sp
Though it is listed as supported on Coreboot supported hardware list, I am not sure how well DDR3 RAM is supported by Coreboot on this board. Does it work with a maximum amount of RAM which the board can handle under its default BIOS firmware or only a few gigs work like 1-2GB?

I can't say about those AM3 boards but my coreboot'ed AMD Lenovo G505S is working fine with 16GB DDR3 installed. Maybe you could check if they have a similar CPU architecture (G505S A10-5750M is Richland) and also check the similarity of their FCH aka "southbridges" (G505S has Bolton M3), while waiting for a more helpful answer from someone more knowledgeable (+ could check if their board_status reports contain a kernel log where you could check the size of installed RAM)

Hello,
I have found that following boards are indicated as supported:

And actually most of them missing any info on the status page and somewhere is info like: The boards works only with less than 4GB of RAM, if installed more then it does not boot Linux.
You can see that some AMD 16GB boards support 32GB two with 4x8GB modules:

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1714859/asus-m5a88-evo-ram.html
But these are 32GBs with their original BIOSes.
What about 16GB or 32GB with a Coreboot flashed on these boards? Did anyone tested and used such config with 16GB or 32GB DDR3 RAM?
Kind Regards, Alex
